Since I was a child growing up in Santo Domingo, I’ve spent my time outdoors, moving, playing, and exploring through physical activity. It felt completely natural to turn that passion into my profession.

What truly drives me is helping people feel better through movement—supporting their health, encouraging growth, and guiding them to reconnect with their bodies.

I’ve had the privilege of living in and traveling to many different countries, which has given me a deep appreciation for cultural diversity and human connection. This perspective helps me better understand your unique needs and share my passion with empathy and intention.

Why is my Pilates 100% authentic?

Romana’s Pilates is the school founded by Romana Kryzanowska (1923–2013), the direct disciple and official successor of Joseph Pilates, who entrusted her with preserving and passing on his original method.

The Romana’s Pilates certification is internationally recognized as the only one that truly represents and upholds the authentic Classical Pilates Method.

Today, the tradition continues under the leadership of Sari Mejia, Romana’s daughter and also a direct student of Joseph Pilates, ensuring the method is passed on with integrity to new generations of instructors.

At Pilates Nations, located in the heart of Geneva, we are proud to be part of this global community—undergoing rigorous training and ongoing supervision to maintain the highest standards of quality and precision.

Originally developed as a system to rehabilitate and strengthen the body through mindful, controlled movement, Pilates has evolved into a comprehensive method that improves posture, core stability, flexibility, alignment, and mental clarity.
